Please Join Us in Boca Raton on December 9
December 3, 2012
Since launching the Remember Me? project in March 2011, we have identified over 350 of the children pictured on our site. We are continuing to find and interview survivors and to write updates for the site. Thanks to all of those who have helped us spread the word about Remember Me? and identify survivors. We are of course especially grateful to the survivors themselves and their families for allowing us to share their stories.
On Sunday, December 9, 2012, as part of the Museum’s 20th Anniversary National Tour, Museum staffers will be in Boca Raton, Florida, for an event that will allow us to honor local survivors and liberators. This event is free and open to the public. Guests will be able to learn more about the Museum’s wide range of programs and activities, including the Remember Me? project. Renato Zarfati and his sister Elvira Zarfati were recently profiled on the Remember Me? site, and members of their family will be attending some of the programs that day, which will include a presentation about Remember Me? at 2 p.m.
